Lofts at Trolley Station

Originally this building was a trolley station. It is constructed of massive concrete beams that created large interior spaces for the trolleys. Natural light was provided by few skylights and windows on 7th Street that served as offices, and waiting areas. Natural light was essential to making livable spaces. An interior street was designed along the central brick wall with a row of new skylights above. Each unit has interior windows onto this street providing plenty of natural light. In addition, skylights were added to the units, and glass block windows along the back property line.

Most units are 2 story units exposing the massive beams, concrete ceiling and stained concrete floors. The loft spaces have bambo floors. The kitchens have custom wood cabinets with granite countertops.
